Yuzu is a Japanese citrus lemon that is valued for its highly aromatic rind. Being an extraordinarily rich source of vitamin C, Yuzu has been used for centuries in Japan for beauty care and health care regimens.

The Japanese truly love this fruit and use it in about every aspect of their lives. They even celebrate Yuzu day during toji (the wintersolstice). Many public baths and onsen (hot springs) all over the country offer hot baths filled with whole Yuzu fruits.
